Rural Voice - New barn expansion for Wagyu cattle

Tim and Donna Prior held an open house on November 6 to show their cattle comfort and low-stress facility near Brussels
Tim and Donna Prior have been raising Wagyu cattle outside and in an old bank barn for over 25 years but wanting to make handling cattle easier for themselves and the herd, they added a new addition to to the barn.
The new barn expansion was built with cow comfort and low-stress in mind. The day after the open house, they processed the herd for dehorning, worming and banding and were amazed at the time savings.
Recently, Donna and I had the opportunity to host some guests from Dubai and Ontario Corn Fed Beef. We had a chance to show off our operation and our fantastic Wagyu cattle. Later, with the help of chef Alex Lussier from Cowbell Kitchen, everyone enjoyed some delicious Wagyu. Thank you to everyone for providing us with this wonderful occasion.
